Driven by the work of Gromov and others, geometric analysis on metric measure spaces has become an important research direction linking geometry, analysis, and probability theory. An interesting question is whether Perelman's W-entropy formula for smooth Ricci flow can be generalized to non-smooth metric measure spaces. In this talk, we will present recent progress on this problem.
