Since the establishment of the noncommutative Burkholder-Gundy inequalities by Pisier and Xu in 1997, many classical martingale inequalities have been extended into the noncommutative setting. In this talk, we discuss several recent noncommutative Burkholder inequalities in the noncommutative martingale setting.
